Roughly 3 hours through rolling fields and hedgerows on the approach to Bath - still proper Cotswold countryside, with the sense that the end is getting closer without urban sprawl yet.

Cold Ashton is a village stop short of the final push. A good place for an early night before the longest-feeling day into Bath.
