About 3 hours via the Sudeley Estate and the Neolithic long barrow at Belas Knap before you reach the highest ground on the whole trail. The day builds steadily - farmland, woodland, then open common with big views toward Cheltenham on a clear day.

Cleeve Hill is exposed and can feel windy even in summer. Book accommodation near the golf club or plan where you're finishing; options are thinner up here than in the villages below.
