Stage 5

A stage of about 2.5 hours rolling south over open common, then down through Dowdeswell Wood to the reservoir. Much of the leg is downhill or gently rolling, which feels easier until the next lump reminds you the Cotswolds are never truly flat.

Dowdeswell is a quiet spot below the escarpment. Restock if you need to before the lumpier walking toward Leckhampton Hill.
